Fillers replace or supplement lost soft tissue volume, lift deflated facial regions, define borders and contours, and smooth deep static lines. Common applications include cheek and midface volumization, nasolabial fold softening, marionette line treatment, lip augmentation and definition, under-eye (tear trough) correction, jawline definition, chin augmentation, and temple volume restoration.
Hyaluronic acid — a naturally occurring sugar molecule found in the body — is formulated into a gel of varying viscosity and cross-linking depending on the target tissue. When injected, HA binds water molecules, creating volume and hydration. Different HA formulations (such as Restylane, Sculptra, and Radiesse) are selected based on the anatomical target and desired outcome.
Anatomical Assessment
Dr. Honrado evaluates facial volume, proportions, skin quality, and treatment goals to design a personalized filler plan.
Preparation
Topical numbing cream is applied. Ice may be used. The area is cleansed.
Injection
Filler is injected using cannula or needle technique depending on anatomical location, in precise layered placements.
Molding and Assessment
Product is gently massaged and distributed. Immediate results are evaluated and adjustments made as needed.
Post-Treatment Care
Ice packs minimize swelling. Vigorous facial massage, extreme heat, and strenuous exercise are avoided for 24 hours.
