What are the functions of this laser?

Who is a candidate? How do I know if I’m a candidate?

Almost anyone. Some skin types vary when it comes to laser hair removal.

How soon will I see results?

For everything except hair removal – results will be seen in a few days.

What can I expect during the procedure?

Minimal discomfort.

How many treatments will I need?

For most of the issues treated with this laser approximately 5-6 treatments are needed.

What needs to be done to prepare/is any preparation needed?

For hair removal, the area being treated will need to be shaved. If pigmentation is being treated a bleaching cream will need to be applied to the area beforehand to prepare.

How much discomfort will I experience during and after? Will Dr. Honrado or his still give me any type of anesthetic?

A topical anesthetic can be used if needed, however normally nothing is needed.

How quick is the recovery time? How much downtime is needed after?

Very quickly. No downtime.

How soon will I be able to return to work? Will I need to go directly home afterwards to recover? Will people be able to see/tell I had something done?

You can go back to work immediately after. Treated area might be red for a few hours after.

What are the post procedure instructions?

Make sure treated area is not in the sun for three-four weeks.
