With the rapid advancement of non-invasive procedures, my patients often come to me looking for a non-surgical eyelift solution. With the strategic placement of Botox and fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane, I can create significant contour improvements of the brow-lid complex. Freezer can address offset brow drooping and filler can add volume to the hollowing beneath the eye. Combined, this approach can be very successful as a non-invasive eyelift.
Treating the crows feet with Botox targets the lateral orbicularis. This is the strongest lateral brow depressor and one of the outcomes is not only relaxing the smile lines around the eyes, but also a slight lifting of the brow is achieved. When the brow is treated with Botox a lifting of the arch is achieved giving the entire brow an overall lift.
Fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm when strategically placed into the lateral brow complex over the boney rim, improve the appearance of crows feet while elevating the corners of the brows. This will also pull the lids up with them, raising the brow complex and creating a more youthful arch. As we age, loss of volume in the temples and forehead causes the brow to droop. Filler in the temples addresses this with wonderful results. Filler is also a successful treatment for under eye bags and dark circles, the result of volume loss in the surrounding area. Filler placed in the tear troughs can fill in hollowing and level out fat pads.
ThermiRase is part of the ThermiLift suite of radio frequency procedures we perform and is the perfect or the in-between patient. This is the patient who is not quite ready for an invasive surgical procedure but who is for looking for a longer-lasting treatment than Botox’s three to six months.
ThermiRase is a radio frequency nerve ablation procedure that provides excellent facial wrinkle reduction with much longer lasting results than Botox. ThermiRase heats the nerves that cause wrinkling so they stop working which allows the muscles to relax for as long as a year or more.
